i can't believe it's wednesday already.

time really flies. what i've been up to:

last thursday

• an extended hike and korean take-out picnic lunch in the oakland hills with my hubby, g (b's good friend), j (our good friend from church), and all five of our well loved poochies.
• catching iron man

last friday (b's birthday)

• visiting and talking to 2nd graders at winnie's school about our jobs, the importance of reading and studying hard, and reading a story to them. these kids are an absolute joy and cracked both me and b up with their questions.
• a couple's massage at spa bar. ruby, my masseuse, gave me one of the best massages -- finding all my stress knots and making me feel so relaxed. for b, it was his first massage, and it was quite interesting since it was a shiatsu. lol. poor guy. it'll be better next time and hopefully he'll take my advice and go with something lighter. huge thanks to d & n for the gift certificate.
• with our home group friends, feasting on cupcakes from teacake bake shop. they taste as good as they looked.

last saturday

• baby zygote's baby shower (working on pics). mommy to be looked radiant and was glowing. i'm soo excited for baby zygote's dad. it was nice to see everyone, especially since i hadn't seen many of my paddling friends in a long, long time. it was good to catch up but i felt a little self-conscious and unsure since i missed out on so much. still, i was really happy to see them. i've missed them a lot.

last sunday

• a very eventful and sad day. my pastor announced his resignation and departure from my church. i'm still processing what has happened. =(
